Bend Drum Circle has Moved!

The Bend Drum Circle has switched to its summer hours and location.

The drum circle meets about 5:30pm every Wednesday at Drake Park in Bend, Oregon near the Farmer's Market during the summer months. All are welcome, beginners included. We often have spare chairs and drums for guests to use. We play mostly African rhythms and drums. See you there! [map]

Bend Community Bazaar Drum Circles

This Saturday there will be two drum circles at the first of several Bend Community Bazaars at Troy Field, next to McMenamin's. One is at noon, and the other at 4:20 pm.

At 11 am Joe Kat of Ubuntu will be giving a rhythm workshop (updated, the head replacement workshop is cancelled).

In addition to all the other entertainment and vendors lined up for the day, I'll be drumming for the lovely and talented bellydancer Sitris at 1:30 pm.

Also, I'd like to note that I won't be available for the Sunday drum circle at the Tulen Center, but that shouldn't stop you all from setting up in the parking lot as we've been doing with the good weather. Drum on!

Open Mother's Day

The drum circle will be open on Mother's Day, May 9.

Cancellation

Greetings, fellow drummer,

Firstly, thank you for being part of the Bend drumming community.

The primary purpose of this post is to inform you that there will be no drum circle this Sunday, April 26, because Joe and I and other local drummers will be in Seattle for the World Rhythm Festival. (It's free!)

The drum circle will resume the following Sunday, May 3, at the Tulen Center at 3pm. The drum circle will be moving some time soon to another location, probably Drake Park on Wednesdays at 5:30. The current time and location can always be found at our web site, http://benddrumcircle.com

Alfalfa Drum Circle - New Hours!
